Southside Medical is committed to provide a transparent, open and honest service to our patients. This includes being clear with patients when something has gone wrong with their care, or has the potential to cause harm or upset.
In such situations we are ethically bound to inform the patient, apologise and offer a full explanation and appropriate remedial action.
We must produce an annual report summarising any Duty of Candour incidents. When published you will be able to read it here.
To date there have been no Duty of Candour reportable incidents at Southside Medical.
